As much as I love modern weddings, the truth is, I’m a sucker for tradition.  With many photographers pushing their couples into having a first look and taking photographs before the ceremony, when our couples opt to go the traditional route and wait to see each other at the isle, we’re more than happy to oblige.

 This was the case for Ashley and David who tied the knot in a stunning traditional Catholic wedding ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown sacramento followed by an elegant reception at the prestigious Sutter Club across from Capitol Park.  I fell in love with Ashley’s 2 piece wedding dress which had a full cathedral length tulle skirt over a sexy fit and flair reception dress.   From start to finish, their wedding was elegant and traditional, and a TON of fun.  The band had the dance floor packed all night!  Here’s a peek at their big day.

With the Sutter Club right across the street from the Capitol in Sacramento, CA- we were able to swing by Capitol park for some outside wedding photos.
